No School on September 30: School will be closed to observe Truth and Reconciliation Day. In the upcoming week, our students will participate in creating a collaborative artwork inspired by Indigenous artist Cristi Belcourt as part of learning about Indigenous ways of knowing.

Upcoming Camps: Grade 9: Departs on Monday, September 23, and returns on Wednesday, September 25. Grade 4: Departs on Wednesday, September 25, and returns on Thursday, September 26. Reminder: Students cannot bring luggage on school buses. Drop-off is at 8:15 a.m., and pick-up is at 2:30 p.m. Special thanks to all the volunteers and staff for making these camps a memorable learning experience.

Lottery Process for Incoming Grade 4 Students: The lottery for next year will open on January 1st and close on January 10th. A lottery entry must be submitted for consideration.

TUESDAY SCHOOL COUNCIL AND PARENT SOCIETY MEETING Tuesday, Sept. 24: 6:30pm (Online) Topics from the leadership team will include: A response from Chris Gilmour related to the recent School Construction Accelerator Announcement; Principal Shannon Bennett will share recent changes to how our teachers use Artificial Intelligence to support parent communication and planning inquiry; and Evan Ferguson will be available at the end of the school council meeting should any of our grade four families have last minute questions about their camp scheduled for the next night. School Council & Parent Society will provide an update. Learn more about what's going on, bring your questions and get involved. ALL parents are welcome to attend!
