We look forward to welcoming our students back after spring break on April 8th.
April 8th also happens to be the date of the solar eclipse which will happen over lunch. We will adjust our schedule that day to have students indoor during this time.
Thank you to the families who came to celebrate their child's progress at our conferences. We alway enjoy opportunites to have families in the school.
We enjoyed the Music March Madness, which involved students in voting for a popular song. It would appear with Coldplay coming in second last year and first this year, that we have a very clear indication of our students' music tastes.
Go Trailblazers: Our badminton team took part in their first tournament of the season on Wednesday. It was a singles preliminary tournament that had a turnout of over 260 athletes from schools across Calgary. Our students did exceptionally well, demonstrating sportsmanship and kindness while also securing FOURTEEN top 10 finishes across the different brackets! Great job Connect!
There was an information session on Wednesday for students interested in playing soccer this spring! It is open to grade 7-9 students with tryouts beginning after Spring Break. Students can talk to Mr. Dittmann or Mr. Toner for more information.
Congratulations to our Connect Spoken Word Poets who joined Wakefield Brewster in his final legacy project as Calgary's poet laureate. We thank him for his contributions to our school and wish him the best in future pursuits.
