Curious to know how Connect Charter School performed on last year's Provincial Achievement Tests? Wondering what initiatives our school council is embarking on this year? We invite all parents to join our online School Council and Parent Society meeting on Tuesday, November 26th at 6:30 p.m. A link will be shared with families on Tuesday.
Grade 9 parents who are interested in knowing about the Summer CALM Peaks program can learn more at the online session on Thursday, November 28th at 5:45 p.m. More information will be shared via email.
Parents as Partners: We continue to look for any parents who might be able to support with our new playground project. Please contact [email protected] if you are willing to volunteer.
This past week, students took part in sharing their perspectives related to what they would like to see in a new playground design. We thank our students for their helpful input.
8.2 is fundraising for an Outdoor Ed ski trip to Norquay! Bake Sale next Thursday at noon! Bring loonies & toonies for treats. Bottle Drive on December 12: start saving your bottles - all students can contribute by bringing a small bag (shopping bag size) of bottles that morning - please be mindful that large bags will not be allowed on the bus. On December 12, the 8.2 students and teacher are looking for use of a trailer (or a couple pickup trucks) and 4 volunteers. SCHOOL COUNCIL & PARENT SOCIETY UPDATE

Thanks to everyone who supported the holiday fundraisers which wrapped up today with our newest addition, Pie Junkie. We’re interested in your feedback as there are many options to gear your holiday spending towards school support. Email schoolcouncil@connectcharter.ca

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR HAND OUT

We need a few more parents to help hand out plants, wreaths, pies and gift cards.
