VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – Casino Fundraiser! We need your help! Connect Charter School has been allotted Casino Fundraising Nights on June 22 and 23, and we need to fill all volunteer spots to make this event a success. Sign up link is below in the school council update.
Welcome back to our grade 8 students who enjoyed their Writing on Stone adventure this week. We also welcome back grade 4-7 Urban Expedition from their overnight experience. We thank the parent volunteers and staff who make these trips a meaningful experience for our students.

Grade 5 Circle Square Ranch Trip (Full Grade) A reminder that students are unable to take their luggage on the school bus. Date: Wednesday to Friday, June 18–20 All Grade 5 students will attend a three-day camp experience.
6.3 Canoeing (AM) & 6.4 Canoeing (PM) Date: Wednesday, June 18 Continued Grade 6 canoeing activities on the Elbow River.
8.3 / 8.4 Elbow River Watershed Trip Date: Wednesday, June 18, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Environmental learning trip focused on the watershed.
7.3 Kayaking (AM) & 7.4 Kayaking (PM) Date: Thursday, June 19 Grade 7 students continue their kayaking experience.
8.1 / 8.2 Elbow River Watershed Trip Date: Thursday, June 19, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Outdoor education trip for students in 8.1 and 8.2.
Fun Lunch – Jelly Modern Donuts Date: Friday, June 20 A sweet way to wrap up the week for students who pre-ordered.
PAT – Grade 6 Math Part A Date: Friday, June 20, 9:00 a.m. Part A of the Grade 6 Math Provincial Achievement Test.

Save the date for the Year End School BBQ happening on June 24th!! It’s a great way to end the 2024-2025 school year!! There will be games, music and food (for purchase in advance). This year we are using a BBQ service; you can purchase a combo for $12 that includes a hotdog or hamburger, chips and a lemonade! We will still need volunteers to make this happen so please keep an eye out for the volunteer signup along with the food ordering form coming to your email very soon!
