This Week's Highlights

Next week marks the last week of the 2022-23 school year. We send our very best to our grade 9 graduates as they continue with their academic journey and we are looking forward to welcoming our incoming grade 4 students in the fall.
The last day of school for students is June 29th. Report cards will be accessible at 4:00 p.m. that day. Please remember to download report cards for your records.

Urban Expedition Elective overnight trip is planned for Monday, June 26th
We would like to thank our loyal and committed bus drivers. We are fortunate to have many of them returning next year.
We are still seeking parent volunteers for fall camps in grades 5, 8 and 9. Please email [email protected] The fall camp dates follow:
-September 6-8 next year's grade 6
-September 11-13 next year's grade 7
-September 13-15 next year's grade 5
-September 18-20 next year's grade 9
-September 20-21 next year's grade 4
-September 25-27 next year's grade 8
Our grade four students had a wonderful experience at Dinosaur Provincial Park this past week. Thank you to the volunteers and staff who supported the overnight camps.
Our grade 9's will celebrate their transition to high school with the stage walk on Tuesday, June 27 at 6:00. They will also culminate their years together with a visit to Calaway Park on Wednesday, June 28.

SCHOOL COUNCIL & PARENT SOCIETY UPDATE

THANKS TO ALL FAMILIES for a great year BACK from the pandemic! We were thrilled to have renewed participation by families at the school, continuing to support fundraisers and getting engaged in our community.

PARENT SURVEY REMINDER: there is opportunity for feedback through the Parent Survey, sent out earlier this week. Responses to questions related to School Council and Parent Society will shared with us anonymously, so feel free to share your thoughts.

PUB NIGHT AT BITTER SISTERS BREWERY, Monday, August 21: Let’s take our first planning meeting off campus and enjoy some drinks at Bitter Sisters. Stay tuned for details!

WELCOME BACK BBQ, Thursday, August 31: Before you know it, we’ll be gathering and grilling again! Look for a similar RSVP, volunteer sign-up and meal order form coming out in August. This is also Meet-the-Teacher Night. Everyone is welcome!
