This Week's Highlights

Staff First Aid Training: This past Monday, staff engaged in first aid training as part of our commitment to student safety. Staff and students also practice lockdown and fire drills to ensure readiness in emergencies.
Upcoming Lockdown Drill: Scheduled for January 21st with support from Calgary Police Services.
No-Dog Zone Reminder: A friendly reminder that the school grounds are a no-dog zone. Thank you for your cooperation.
Grade 4 2025 Lottery reminder: The Grade 4 2025 Lottery is open January 1-10, 2025. It closes at midnight on January 10! ALL students, including siblings, must submit a lottery entry for admissions consideration. Lottery results and requests for intake packages will be issued approximately January 17, 2025. January 16-17: Grade 8 Overnight Thrive Experience
Grade 5 Field Trip to Telus Spark: Scheduled for January 13th.
PE Skating Next Week: Students will be skating during their gym time at the outdoor rink.
Parent Information Webinars:
January 14 at 6:00 p.m.: Thrive Overnight Experience for Grade 8 families (link to be shared on the day of the webinar).
January 16: Grade 7 Spring Overnight Camp in Kananaskis (link to be shared with Grade 7 families).
Save the Date: Winter Concert: January 23rd, 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Elective Classes Update: We have begun our second rotation of electives.

ALL parents are invited to attend our THRIVE Parent Learning Series, designed to bring our community together for engaging and empowering discussions. See below for details on the program and our speaker. Students are voting on a choice of movie, which will be announced next week. See email from School Council for the full details.
