Dear Families,
I am working to provide you with more information related to the HUB expansion. We are wasting no time to get families the important information they require and will be providing two webinars on the night of April 19th. One webinar will be for our grade 4, 5, and 6 families, and the second webinar will be for our grade 7, 8, and 9 families. Families are more than welcome to attend both sessions. A link will be provided on the afternoon of April 19th through email.
It is my first priority to communicate with families in a transparent and timely fashion.
To help curate my presentation at the webinars, a form can be found here where parents can write up to three questions. This will allow me to consider the voices of many and be sure that the most pertinent information is shared. During the webinar, the Q and A feature will also be a place for families to put forward their questions. Our administration team will be alerting me of incoming questions throughout the presentation.
I hope you are able to join me on April 19th and I look forward to supporting our family community with the incoming information and details that I have at that time.
With sincerity,
Chris Gilmour

Connect Charter is proud to present a return to Parent Enrichment Programming!
Regardless of whether your student is attending the movie, parents are invited to a special program and conversation with Julie Freeman Smith. We’ll talk about parenting in a post-pandemic world and pick up new ideas and tools to help with current challenges we may be facing. Julie was a Connect Charter parent, providing her with context of our community. We’re thrilled to welcome her back in the school.
Author, Blogger, Podcast Host, and Parenting Expert, Julie Freedman Smith has been supporting parents for over 20 years. Her clients include individual families, schools and organizations supporting caring parents who want to best-help their kids. Julie believes that parenting is hard – it’s easier together, and combines research-based information, humorous anecdotes and parenting hacks resulting in audiences and clients ready to face their parenting challenges head on!
