Important Updates

We thank all of the staff and students who were involved in the Remembrance Day Ceremony. This occasion is a significant event in our school calendar.
A reminder that there is no school on Monday, November 10th as it is a professional development day for teachers.
There is not school on Tuesday, November 11th, Remembrance Day.
Grade 6 and 7 immunization catch up on Wednesday, November 12th.
Fun Lunch- Saucy Bread - Friday, November 14th.
We have changed the date for our parent coffee from November 7th to November 14th. This accommodates our Remembrance Day Assembly, scheduled for November 7th.
Urban Expedition - Grade 4/5 Overnight Elective Trip November 13 – 14.
We continue to work hard to fundraise for the playground project. See updated details below.

School Council Update:

November 27 ….Save-the-Date!

Connect Charter is hosting a Movie Night and Parent session on Thursday November 27! We invite you to order dinner through Healthy Hunger (if you like), bring the kids for some movie fun (leave them at the gym!) then head up to the learning commons for a super interesting evening with Cassidy Brown and Ryan Szarko (two service providers who students with behavioural therapy and communication therapy.)

Holiday Plant & Arrangements Fundraiser

We are launching our holiday plant fundraiser! Support us by purchasing a holiday plant, wreath or arrangement! Order deadline is November 10 with pickup on November 25th. CLICK HERE to order!

Volunteers Wanted!!

Do you want to get involved with the school? Have just a little bit of time to share or A LOT of time to share? Interested in only one or two things or EVERYTHING? No matter what your jam is, our school council is excited to have you come out and be a part of our volunteer community!

Bottles to Recycle?

Did you know that you can donate your bottle recycling to Connect Charter School through Skip the Depot and they will even pick them up!! You can find out more on the Skip the Depot website.
