It was wonderful to welcome families back after the winter break for Parent-Teacher Conferences.
The change from student-led conferences and the shift in timing (January instead of December) is designed to provide parents with more one-on-one time with teachers and to be forward-focused in setting the next term up for success.
Thank you to the families who contributed to the teacher meal during conferences. Our teachers appreciated their dinner on a busy night. We also extend our appreciation to School Council for their organization and support with this meal.
Online conference bookings remain available this week.
Teachers will reach out to families who missed conferences due to the power outage to rebook, with some in-person availability on the afternoon of January 16.
Families are invited to attend the Parent Consultation Session on February 6 from 8:45–10:45 a.m. Sign-up information can be found in the email sent by Chris Gilmour.
