Important Updates

No School – Organization Day

  • A reminder that there is no school on March 6, as it is an Organization Day for staff.


Grade 7 Winter Camp

  • We welcome back all of our Grade 7 winter campers and thank the volunteers and staff who made this experience memorable.

  • Way to go Peaks of Progress on earning a well-deserved day trip to Norquay.


📚Read-a-thon Celebration

  • We are excited to announce that our students all pulled together to reach their Read-a-thon goal!  Thank you to everyone for supporting our students in their reading and fundraising efforts. 

  • This means we will have a celebration “Hot Ones” Style Event, where teachers are tasked with eating hot (and hotter!) wings.

We’re kicking off our Purdys Fundraiser and you’re invited to help us reach our goal. Celebrate Easter, Passover, Hanuman Janmotsav, Chaitra Navratri, Eid al-Fitr, Naw Rúz, Maundy Thursday or a Qingming Festival with chocolates that can add a little yumminess to any holiday.

Please remember to cancel your students lunch five days in advance of these events (including Thrive days) as we are unable to hold class orders in our fridge.  We also do not hold uncollected lunches over long weekends.

 

Volunteers Wanted!!

Do you want to get involved with the school? Have just a little bit of time to share or A LOT of time to share? Interested in only one or two things or EVERYTHING?  No matter what your jam is, our school council is excited to have you come out and be a part of our volunteer community!

Bottles to Recycle?

Did you know that you can donate your bottle recycling to Connect Charter School through Skip the Depot and they will even pick them up!!  You can find out more on the Skip the Depot website.
