Report cards are accessible through PowerSchool parent account. Congratulations to our students on a year of achievement!
We celebrated the last day of school in several ways this year.
To begin the day, students lined the hallways to congratulate Ms. Newton (Education Assistant) on her retirement. Tomorrow is her last day and we thank her for her contributions.
Students viewed an end-of-year video with moments of celebration from the year. Included in this video was a depiction of opening the time capsule from 25 years ago. Items will be catalogued and maintained as part of our library.
At the end of year assembly, we built our own time capsule and filled it with items the students had made and a collaborative art piece. This time capsule will be sealed for the next 25 years. It also includes photos, letters, and reflections from students. Interestingly enough - there was a sausage in a jar in the last time capsule! By popular demand, we decided it would go back into the new time capsule.
During last night's stage walk and during today's assembly, we congratulated and sent our grade 9 students off to high school. We wish them the very best in their next adventure.
We thank our students for their focus and care in the recent grade 6 and 9 provincial achievement tests. Our results continue to show academic excellence and are consistently higher across all subject areas than the provincial average. Students are well equipped with the middle school foundations and skills to find success in high school.
Our volunteer tea was a wonderful opportunity to show appreciation for our volunteers this week. We thank all volunteers and families for their engagement in the program.
