Important Updates

🍁 Labour Day Long Weekend

  • A reminder that there is no school on September 7 for the Labour Day long weekend.
  • We hope all of our families enjoy a wonderful long weekend!

☕ Parent Coffee

  • Thank you to the parents who attended our Parent Coffee this week.
  • Parent Coffees typically take place on the first Friday of each month and are informal opportunities to learn more about the school, meet other parents, and connect with the leadership team.

🏕️ Grade 6 Camp Appreciation

  • Thank you to the parent volunteers who attended Grade 6 Camp this week and helped make the experience possible.
  • We also extend our appreciation to the staff members who supported our students throughout the camp experience.

📧 Reporting Student Absences

  • Our office staff appreciates families reporting student absences by email at [email protected].

🤝 Supporting Students Early in the School Year

  • Each September, Connect teachers meet with our Inclusive Practices Coordinator for a half day to learn more about the students in their classrooms and consider how they can be responsive to individual learning needs early in the school year.
  •  
  • Please note, this year, IPP meetings will take place online on September 25.
  • Information about how to sign up for an IPP meeting will be shared with families closer to the date.

📄 Letter from the Minister of Education and Childcare

  • Parents will have received the letter from The Honourable Demetrios Nicolaides, Minister of Education and Childcare in their email through School Messenger.

  • Grade 4 Day Trip – Camp Connect — Tuesday, September 8
  • Fun Lunch – A&W — Tuesday, September 8
  • Grade 5 Fall Camp — September 9–11, 2026
    • A reminder that drop-off on camp departure day is between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. and camp pick-up is at 2:30 p.m.  Students are not able to ride the school bus with their camp luggage.
  • Fun Lunch – Edo — Friday, September 11
