Weekly Updates/Blog/Twitter

The class website contains information about EXPO, photos from trips and weekly updates. http://grade5connects.weebly.com The grade 5 team will also be sending out weekly updates via email. Please contact the teachers if you are not receiving the weekly email. The information in the weekly update is a general update on the activities of grade 5 students that particular week, but does not generally provide any information about specific assignments or students.

Homework

Regular homework is not assigned in grade 5. We encourage you to have your child read and practice math facts. Assignments and assessment feedback are posted via Seesaw. There is a Seesaw family app or the student portfolios can be accessed by signing in at https://app.seesaw.me/#/login. Digital student agendas are also used to keep track of daily assignments. Parents are asked to review student agendas every evening.
